Little Entrepreneurs Raise Money for the Needy | Print |  E-mail
Wednesday, 16 December 2009

When it comes to caring for the needy and contributing to society, Kinderland never slacks behind.
This year, Kinderland once again raises money for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, where needy children will benefit. Part of the Kinderland Curriculum includes the Little Entrepreneur Project, a project-based experiential learning approach, where children explore and learn how to plan, operate and manage a business in a realistic setting.

On Children's Day, our children from Kinderland @ Ministry of National Development made mini snow skin moon-cakes for sale at Annex B, MND Complex and Amoy Food Centre. Two thousand and one dollars was received from the 800 over pieces of moon-cakes sold. We would like to thank parents for your generous support in purchasing the moon-cakes and taking time off to be present at our booth.

A total sum of $10,000 was raised from the Entrepreneur Projects at Kinderland centres at Ministry of National Development, Pandan Valley, Singapore Poly, SAFRA Toa Payoh, SAFRA Tampines, Sengkang, Hougang and Ministry of Manpower.
